Position Overview
A skilled nursing facility in Coeur d’Alene is seeking an experienced Infection Control RN to lead and strengthen its Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) program. This role is ideal for a BSN‑prepared nurse with LTC experience who excels in education, compliance, and data‑driven infection prevention.

- BSN required
- Current Idaho RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 6 months of long‑term care experience
- Strong understanding of infection control practices, including IPC/CDC guidelines
- Skilled nursing experience preferred
- Excellent communication, follow‑through, and attention to detail

- Lead the facility’s Infection Prevention & Control Program
- Track, trend, and report infection data
- Educate staff on best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with state and federal infection control regulations
- Collaborate with leadership to protect resident health and reduce infection risk
