Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures, including breast imaging exams
- Assist with and/or perform breast biopsy procedures
- Provide imaging services to emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Follow all AHA, ARRT, and facility protocols
- Manage workflow efficiently in a department averaging 25–30 patients per day
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
- ARRT Certification (Mammography required)
- AHA BLS Certification (Required)
- Experience with breast imaging and biopsy procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Work Environment
- Provides 24-hour departmental support to ED, inpatient, and outpatient units
- Fast-paced imaging department with moderate to high patient volume
- Collaborative clinical setting with multidisciplinary teams
