Daily Hours: 10

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (on-call)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager – Labor & Delivery (L&D) to lead and coordinate patient care services in a dynamic acute care setting. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting staff and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Lead and coordinate care delivery among healthcare team members
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Provide education and guidance to staff and patients
Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
Delegate responsibilities appropriately and oversee team performance
Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and compliant care environment

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in L&D
Specialty: Labor & Delivery required
Shift Coverage: Primarily day shift with occasional evening visibility

Certifications & Licensure: Active RN License (State of California) – Required BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – Required
