Description

We are seeking an experienced OB Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-spectrum maternal-child assignment in Hawaii. This role includes care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery, requiring strong clinical versatility and confidence in both maternal and newborn care.

📋 Job Details

Start Date: June 8, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable (Days & Nights)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week after orientation)
On-Call: 12-hour call shift at least once/month

🩺 Core Responsibilities

Care for laboring mothers throughout delivery process
Assist providers during vaginal and operative deliveries
Provide immediate newborn stabilization and assessment
Deliver postpartum recovery care and patient education
Monitor maternal/fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring systems

👶 Unit Overview

Labor & Delivery: 8 labor beds
Postpartum: 18 beds
Full maternal-child continuum including Nursery coverage

🧠 Requirements (Strict)

Minimum 3 years Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Strong competency in:
- Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum care
- Nursery / newborn care
Ability to work variable shifts and flexible scheduling

BLS
NRP

Recommended:

STABLE
Advanced Fetal Monitoring

📜 License Requirement

Hawaii RN License required by start date (apply upon offer if not active)
