Description

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) with strong oncology and chemotherapy administration experience for a busy ambulatory infusion center within Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

This role supports adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, and complex medical diagnoses requiring outpatient infusion therapies.

Shift: Days – 4x10s
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours: 40/week
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Saturday

🩺 Unit Overview

Unit Type: Ambulatory Infusion Center
Chairs: 25 infusion chairs
Daily Volume: 60–110 patients/day
Adult Hematology / Oncology / Medical infusion population
APP coverage provided through attached Hem/Onc clinic

🩺 Core Responsibilities

Administer:
- Chemotherapy
- Blood products
- Medical infusion therapies
Manage infusion devices including:
- Alaris pumps
- CADD pumps
Perform:
- IV starts
- PICC line management
- IVAD access/deaccess
- Phlebotomy
Monitor patients for infusion reactions and complications
Maintain accurate EPIC documentation

🧠 Requirements (Strict)

Minimum 2 years chemotherapy administration experience
Previous Infusion / Oncology RN experience REQUIRED
Prior travel experience preferred
Strong ambulatory infusion workflow experience

✅ Certifications Required

BLS (AHA)
ONS Chemo Provider Card
