Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Annville, Pennsylvania
Pay Rate: $27-$30/hr, paid weekly

Schedule: Weekends 0700-1400

Responsibilities:

Provide daily nursing care and conduct routine sick call assessments
Monitor cadets’ physical health and respond to medical concerns and emergencies
Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
Administer treatments and monitor recovery from illness or injury under RN direction
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards
Identify and respond to communicable conditions such as lice or scabies
Assist with physical wellness screenings and health eligibility reviews
Administer medications in accordance with provider instructions
Maintain medication administration records and treatment documentation
Assist with emergency medical care as needed
Support telemedicine procedures during non-standard hours when required

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in PA
Current CPR certification
Current First Aid and Safety certification through the American Red Cross
Ability to work collaboratively with an RN and multidisciplinary team
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Experience working with youth or in residential settings preferred
