Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Location

Hagerstown, Maryland

Employment Type

Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
No weekend requirement
No on-call duties
No floating outside scope of practice
Block scheduling not accommodated
Locals not accepted

Job Description

Provide pre-operative assessments, intra-operative circulating, and post-operative recovery from anesthesia in the Endoscopy department
Endoscopy technician experience is helpful
Patient ratio: 1:1
Electronic Health Record system: EPIC required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification
Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record system
