Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a travel assignment at Adventist – Mendocino Coast in Fort Bragg, CA.
The CLS will perform a broad range of clinical laboratory testing on biological specimens, evaluate and document results, and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and confidentiality standards.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, evaluating, and reporting laboratory results accurately
- Following laboratory safety, maintenance, and quality protocols
- Serving as a technical resource when delegated by the Medical Director
- Training and mentoring laboratory assistants, clerks, and trainees as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Allied Health Technologies, or equivalent — Required
- Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License — Required
- Must have experience with Cerner and EPIC systems
