169776 – Part Time Weekend Nurse Practitioner
Location: Kennesaw, GA 30144
Pay Rate: $74.87/hour
Assignment Start Date: 06/08/2026
Assignment End Date: 11/21/2026
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (opportunity to extend or go permanent based on business needs)
Schedule: Part-Time
Weekend Schedule: Every Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Additional Schedule: One weekday shift each week (flexible and may vary weekly)

Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, chronic disease management, and disposition planning while supporting positive patient health outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based primary and family care services.
  • Perform accurate patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health conditions.
  • Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic testing.
  • Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and wellness initiatives.
  • Support chronic condition management and behavioral health initiatives.
  • Coordinate care plans with other healthcare professionals.
  • Encourage patient participation in their own healthcare and wellness.
  • Perform administrative duties including clinic opening/closing procedures.
  • Manage inventory and maintain clinic cleanliness.
  • Verify insurance information and collect payments when necessary.
  • Complete patient follow-up activities and documentation.
  • Utilize electronic medical systems for charting and patient care documentation.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a remote clinical care team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
  • Ability to practice autonomously without direct supervision.
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Systems (EMS/EMR platforms).
  • Working knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measures.
  • Ability to adapt, problem solve, and prioritize in a clinical environment.
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure if needed.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
  • DEA registration application may be required during onboarding unless otherwise noted.

What Candidates Should Know Before Applying:

  • Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • This is a weekend-focused position requiring availability every weekend throughout the duration of the assignment.
  • One weekday shift per week will also be required and may vary.
  • This is considered a safety-sensitive position.
  • Holiday rotation coverage may be required based on business needs.
  • The role requires working collaboratively with a remote clinical support team.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working independently and managing patient care autonomously.

Benefits:
