Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of stepdown or specialized unit experience (SDU)
• Ability to float to Med/Surg or ER as needed to support patient care needs
• Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications
• Valid state RN licensed
• Proficiency in managing antiarrhythmic IV medications, non-invasive ventilation, and peripheral vascular assessments
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with cardiothoracic postoperative care
• Prior work in a fast-paced, acute care setting involving cardiac stabilization and vascular interventions
• Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support or related specialties

Preferred Education and Experience

• Valid RN licensure in the state of practice
• At least 2 years of relevant stepdown or cardiac telemetry experience in a hospital or equivalent clinical environment

Other Requirements

• Flexibility to work various shifts; block scheduling is not available
• Willingness to support float assignments to Med/Surg or ER
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered for a reduced rate
• Ability to comply with the facility’s policies and protocols
