Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment at a nationally recognized acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong experience assisting with cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and sterile field
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure patient safety
- Perform scrubbing, circulating, and imaging duties as needed
- Document procedures accurately using Epic charting system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Procedures Performed
- Coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Permanent pacemaker procedures
- Cardiac arrhythmia procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
- ARRT certification required
- Fluoro Permit required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Pending Fluoro Permit candidates considered if already applied
- Experience with Epic preferred
