Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds - Cath lab 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath / suites
· Number of Staff – 9
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift - day shift 6:45 to 5:15 CVL
o 0700-1700 pre-post - variable
· Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient. Cath Lab procedural area
· Type of equipment – GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
· EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience
- BLS, ACLS & PALS
Preferred or nice to have candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Holding experience
- Monitoring experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention
- Pacers, ICD’s, Cardioversions, TEE’s Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress test.

- Engaged in high quality patient care experience
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
- Must take on-call responsibilities with rest of team.
- Must be housed within 30 min of the Cath Lab.
