Lubbock, TX
Join a busy Cardiovascular OR team at a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center, supporting complex cardiac and vascular surgeries. This role is ideal for techs with strong cardiothoracic and vascular experience looking to gain exposure to advanced cardiac procedures in a structured OR environment.

🫀 Clinical Environment
Work in a dedicated CVOR setting supporting high-acuity cardiovascular cases, including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR)
- Mitral Valve Replacement
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) procedures
- Angioplasty & Stenting
- Atrial Septal Defect Repair
- Pericardial Window procedures
🔧 Role Responsibilities
- Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique during procedures
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure proper specimen handling and labeling
- Follow universal protocol (time-out procedures)
- Adhere to laser, radiation, and sharps safety protocols
- Support emergency interventions within the OR
📋 Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR Tech experience
- Cardiothoracic & vascular experience – REQUIRED
- BLS certification (required)
- NBSTSA certification (required)
- Strong understanding of CVOR workflows and sterile technique

- Day shift (5x8s)
- On-call required (nights, weekends, holidays)
- No block scheduling
- No floating between units
- 1:3 case support ratio
