🫀 Unit Overview – CVICU
Work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) managing high-acuity cardiac patients, including post-operative and critically ill cases requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for critically ill cardiac and post-surgical patients
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive drips
- Care for patients post cardiac surgery and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU teams
- Respond to rapid changes in patient condition
📋 Requirements
- Active RN license (CA or compact if applicable)
- BLS certification – REQUIRED
- Cerner experience – strongly preferred
- Strong background in CVICU or high-acuity ICU settings
