Radiation Oncology RN

As a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse, you will join a multidisciplinary oncology team dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

🕒 Schedule

• 4x10-hour weekday shifts
• No weekends preferred schedule

💼 Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and radiation therapy patients
• Assess, monitor, and educate patients throughout treatment plans
• Coordinate care with physicians, radiation therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and manage treatment-related side effects
• Support patients and families with education, symptom management, and care planning
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with oncology care standards
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care initiatives
• Stay current on evidence-based oncology and hematology practices

✅ Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Colorado in good standing
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Oncology experience

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
• Experience in hematology/oncology and chronic illness management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic setting
• Knowledge of evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, and culturally sensitive patient care
