🩺 Role Overview
As a Diagnostic Mammographer, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging procedures, working closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Ensure accurate positioning and high-quality imaging
- Follow ALARA radiation safety principles
- Coordinate with radiologists for timely and accurate interpretation
- Retrieve and compare prior imaging studies
- Educate patients on breast health and self-examinations
- Maintain quality control and equipment standards
- Support patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience
- Participate in department initiatives and outreach programs
📋 Requirements
- ARRT (R) & (M) certifications – REQUIRED
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License
- Active California Mammography License
- Active California Fluoroscopy License
- BLS (AHA) certification – REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years of Mammography experience
- Venipuncture Certificate (within 3 months of hire)

- Provide care across all patient age groups
- Work in a collaborative imaging department
- Exposure to multiple imaging workflows and modalities
- Hands-on role with advanced diagnostic imaging responsibilities
