🩺 Role Overview

As a Diagnostic Mammographer, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging procedures, working closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Ensure accurate positioning and high-quality imaging
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles
• Coordinate with radiologists for timely and accurate interpretation
• Retrieve and compare prior imaging studies
• Educate patients on breast health and self-examinations
• Maintain quality control and equipment standards
• Support patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience
• Participate in department initiatives and outreach programs 

📋 Requirements

• ARRT (R) & (M) certifications – REQUIRED
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Active California Mammography License
• Active California Fluoroscopy License
• BLS (AHA) certification – REQUIRED
• Minimum 5 years of Mammography experience
• Venipuncture Certificate (within 3 months of hire) 

⚙️ Work Environment

• Provide care across all patient age groups
• Work in a collaborative imaging department
• Exposure to multiple imaging workflows and modalities
• Hands-on role with advanced diagnostic imaging responsibilities
