Travel OR RN – New York | 13 Weeks | Day Shift

We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in New York.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 8 Hour Days
• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekends/Holidays: Required
• Call Requirement: Yes
• On-Call Response Time: 30 Minutes
• Radius Rule: 100 Mile Radius Rule Applies

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active New York State RN License
• Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required
• Meditech Experience Required
• BLS Certification Required
• ACLS Preferred
• Must successfully complete and pass the OR final exam as a condition of employment

Candidate Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced OR setting
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to recognize and address patient and staff safety concerns
• Experience handling clinical equipment and maintaining aseptic environments
• Strong leadership and delegation skills
• Ability to function effectively under pressure
• Dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
• May be required to assume Charge RN responsibilities
