Description
Level 3 Trauma Facility
9 bed unit, may extend up to 12 beds if necessary. Population is patients on ventilators, surgical complications, Cath Lab (impella and balloon pumps), hypo oxygen, and patients on various drips. The ICU does take care of Pediatric patients as anything under 12 years old will come back to the ICU. Ratio is 1:1-2.
