Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time opportunity with a leading academic health system in northern Illinois. This role offers a flexible 4x10 schedule, strong compensation, and the opportunity to qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.
 

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and excellent care delivery. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented imaging professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Position Overview

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • Rotating overnight on-call 1–2 nights weekly
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Pay range: $36.99 – $55.49/hour
  • Sign-on bonus up to $20,000
  • Shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay available

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment efficiently and safely
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays
  • Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a two-year Radiologic Technology program required
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license required
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred; required within one year of hire if not currently obtained
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
  • Cath lab experience is NOT required — technologists from general radiology backgrounds are welcome, and full training will be provided to expand skills and transition into cath lab responsibilities if needed
