RN – Operating Room Opportunity

Location: Hobbs, New Mexico
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8s | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Duration: 8-Week Assignment

Job Highlights:
• Work in a fast-paced Operating Room setting with 1:1 patient ratios
• Experience with Orthopedic, General Surgery, GYN, Podiatry, Trauma, and Endoscopy procedures
• Assist in surgical cases including arthroscopy, joint replacements, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, cystoscopy, and laparoscopic procedures
• Support perioperative patient care including conscious sedation monitoring, infection control, wound management, specimen handling, and blood product administration
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Work with specialized OR equipment including Electrosurgical Units, Hana Table, and Steris equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation (1–2 weekdays/week and 1–2 weekends/month)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and physical therapy

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in Trauma, General OR, and Ambulatory OR settings preferred
• C-section experience is helpful but not required
