Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Facility: Connecticut Children’s Medical Center
Position: Registered Nurse – NICU
Start Date: 06/08/2026
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days/Nights | 3x12s | Weekend Only Position
Pay Package (Travel):
• Weekly Gross: $2,570
• Weekly Taxable: $1,044
• Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,526
Local Pay Package (Within 75 Miles):
• $65/hr on W2
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3 Years NICU Experience
• Required Level IV NICU Experience
• Active CT RN License or Compact License
• BLS & NRP Required
• Previous Travel Experience Preferred
• Must be comfortable floating to PICU/Med Surg if needed
Clinical Experience Required:
• Ventilator Management
• Bubble CPAP & HFNC
• UAC/UVC Line Management
• Neonatal Dosage Calculations
• Therapeutic Hypothermia
• Sepsis Workups
• Surgical & Cardiac Neonatal Cases
Facility Highlights:
• 48-Bed Level IV NICU
• Teaching Hospital Environment Preferred
• Block Scheduling Available
