Description
Pride Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant – Home Health to join our team in Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. This is a 3 months contract with potential for extension.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed PT, following the established Plan of Care.
- Document patient visits, progress, and outcomes accurately using HCHB or similar systems.
- Monitor patient condition and communicate any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety practices.
- Travel between patient homes within assigned coverage areas while maintaining a compassionate, flexible, and patient-centered approach.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience
- Licensed PTA in state of FL and experience in HCHB documentation preferred
- Coverage Areas: Saint Petersburg, FL
Additional Information:
- Location: Saint Petersburg, FL 33701
- Schedule: 40 hours/week – Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Contract Duration: 3 Months
Gross Weekly Pay: $1,960
W2 hourly Taxable: $21.50/Hourly
Stipends Non Taxable: $1100
- Local Pay: $35 - $42/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
