Description
Required Certifications & Licensure
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner (IN license) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
Education Requirements
- Completion of a Respiratory Therapy program completed in-person
- Program must be accredited by CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care)
- Program must also be regionally accredited through CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation)
Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Acute care or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
