Respiratory Therapist
Location: Charlotte
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12hr Day Shift | 7:00AM – 7:00PM | 36 Hours
Facility Overview
- 337 licensed beds
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
- Non-Teaching Hospital
- No Trauma Designation
- Free Parking
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Active North Carolina Respiratory License required
- RRT or CRT required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Required Experience & Skills
- Critical Care
- CVICU
- NICU
- Emergency Department
- Progressive Care
- All Floor Therapies
- Experience with:
- Servo ventilators (I, U, Air)
- Trilogy
- ResMed AirCurve
- HiFlow
- Airvo
- NOXbox
- Bubble CPAP
- EPIC experience preferred
Floating Requirements
Traveler must be agreeable to floating within Region 2 facilities as needed, including:
- Pineville
- Anson
- Union
- Union West
- Central Division:
- CMC Main
- CMC Mercy
- Levine Children’s Hospital
- Any Freestanding ED within Region 2
If floated mid-shift, traveler remains on the clock and is paid for travel time.
Schedule Details
- Every Other Weekend required
- No On-Call
- Travelers required to work 75% of holidays

- 2 departmental orientation days
