Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Position Overview

Adventist Health Twin Cities is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support its NICU and critical care services. This role requires strong neonatal and critical care expertise, particularly in high-acuity delivery support and advanced respiratory interventions.

The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced NICU environment, managing neonatal respiratory needs, and assisting during high-risk deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care in NICU and critical care settings
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation
• Set up and manage BCPAP (Bubble CPAP) systems
• Deliver advanced respiratory support for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Perform airway management and ventilator support as needed
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Respond to emergency respiratory situations in labor & delivery and NICU
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience
• At least 1 year of NICU experience required
• Experience attending deliveries strongly required
• Proficiency in BCPAP setup and management
• Current certifications required:
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Strong ability to work independently in high-acuity environments

Schedule & Work Environment

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekends required
• NICU-focused critical care environment
