Description
Pediatrician – Full-Time
Location: Othello, Washington
Salary Range: $230,829 – $300,077 annually (DOE)**
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to join a collaborative healthcare team in Othello, WA. This full-time role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and inpatient pediatric coverage, serving infants through young adults. This position is ideal for a physician who values continuity of care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team in a community-focused environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary, acute, chronic, and emergency pediatric care
- Conduct routine physical exams, developmental screenings, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of pediatric conditions
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate EMR/EHR documentation
- Participate in inpatient pediatric coverage and shared call rotation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and treatment plans
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency program
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Active Washington State medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in rural health or outpatient pediatric settings
Work Environment:
- Combination of outpatient clinic and hospital-based care
- Occasional travel between clinic locations
- Valid driver’s license required
