Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Schedule: 5 days/week

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist – Breast Imaging for a contract opportunity at the Breast Cancer Center in Wheat Ridge, CO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality breast ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast ultrasound examinations according to department protocols
• Verify patient identity and physician orders before procedures
• Prepare and educate patients regarding ultrasound exams
• Evaluate images for clarity, quality, and diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
• Operate ultrasound equipment and imaging systems effectively
• Follow infection control and sterile technique standards
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure patient comfort during exams
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff
• Support quality assurance and reporting procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
• Must have experience performing breast ultrasounds
• ARDMS Certification required
• RDMS (BR) – Breast Specialty Certification REQUIRED
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
