🚑 NICU Transport Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment
📍 Seattle, Washington
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal / Pediatric Critical Care Transport RN for a high-acuity travel assignment at a leading Level I facility in Seattle. This role involves ground transport of critically ill neonates and pediatric patients in collaboration with RTs and advanced practice providers.

🏥 Facility Overview
- Location: Providence Swedish First Hill Campus
- Type: Major acute care / referral hospital

- Service Model: Critical Care Transport Team (Ground Transport)
🕒 Schedule Details
- Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3x12s
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: Not required
- Floating: Required to NICU / PICU / Pediatrics as needed
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 06/01/2026)
📋 Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- NRP – Required
- PALS – Required
- Experience in ground pediatric/neonatal transport – REQUIRED
- Experience in NICU and/or PICU care
🚨 Key Clinical Skills
- Neonatal & pediatric emergency transport
- Ventilator management & airway care
- IV vasopressors & emergency medications
- Central line & arterial line management
- ABG interpretation
- Dysrhythmia recognition and management
- NG tube, chest tube, and respiratory support
- Sedation, seizure management, hypothermia protocols
🚑 Transport Responsibilities
- Perform ground critical care transport of neonates and pediatric patients
- Coordinate with RTs and advanced practice providers
- Pick up patients from ED, NICU, L&D, and outside hospitals
- Stabilize and transport patients to higher level of care
- Ensure continuous monitoring and documentation during transport

- Strong in NICU/PICU critical care environments
- Experienced in transport nursing (ground transport REQUIRED)
- Calm under pressure with excellent critical thinking
- Skilled in airway, ventilator, and emergency response care
- Comfortable floating to inpatient pediatric critical care units
