Pharmacy Technician
Santa Fe Indian Health Center
Santa Fe, New Mexico
DT-Trak Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Department at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center. This is a full-time federal contract position supporting direct patient care and pharmacy operations in an outpatient healthcare setting.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
40 hours per week
No overtime authorized
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Contract Length:
Base year with option years available through 2031
Responsibilities:
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing
• Fill prescriptions and support medication inventory management
• Answer phones and assist patients with refill requests
• Support curbside prescription delivery
• Assist with vaccine clinic operations when assigned
• Maintain medication and vaccine inventory records
• Prepare inventory and expiration reports
• Support pharmacy workflow and administrative duties
• Work with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Ability to pass federal background investigation and fingerprinting
• Experience in outpatient or hospital pharmacy preferred
• Experience with ScriptPro, Pyxis, RPMS, or EHR systems preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Compliance with all federal contractor onboarding requirements
