Submission Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
• Travel History: Minimum 1 previous travel assignment required (No first-time travelers).
• Radius Rule: Strict 75-mile permanent address radius rule.
• Licensure: Must have a valid license at the time of submission.
• Hiring Process: Interview with a Medical Solutions RN only. Profiles are sent to the client after this; confirmation usually occurs within 20 minutes. No second interview with the hospital.

• Location: Albany, GA (Main Campus: 483 beds; North Campus: 124 beds).
• Trauma Level: Acute Care Setting.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue.

Unit Operations (Labor Pool)

• Shift: 12H Days (0645 start).
• Ratios:
  • Nurse to Patient: 1:6.
  • CNA to Patient: 1:8 to 1:10.
• Support: RT and Pharmacy are available 24/7. No IV team (PICCs available).
• Floating: High flexibility required. Assignments may change mid-shift.
  • MedSurg: Floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW.
  • ICU/ED: Floats to Cardiology, ICU, and ED.

Expectations & Certifications

• Certifications Required: BLS and NIHSS.
• Scheduling: Every other weekend; holiday rotation with permanent staff.
• Call: On-call required for low census.
• Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 12 hours every 2 weeks.
