Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel)
Location: Sylva, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Acute care setting in a 24-bed Medical Surgical unit
- Patient ratio approximately 1:6
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours vary (every other or every 3rd weekend)
- No call requirements
- Float based on rotation
- Electronic Health Record system: Paragon
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
Unit Profile & Patient Population
- Medical Surgical unit with a focus on general medical and surgical patients
- Common diagnoses and treatments related to Medical Surgical care
- Competency in Medical Surgical nursing skills is a must
