Description
Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment
Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Work in a 40-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
- 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
- Weekend hours every other week (EOW)
- Float requirements apply
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
- Dress code: Navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
Additional Information
- Unit includes an 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU, expanded Cardiac Rehab, outpatient therapy, and cardiac catheterization labs
- Patient population primarily adult medical-surgical and orthopedic cases
- Call requirements not specified
- Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year
Notes for Candidates
- Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

- This is a travel nursing position with guaranteed weekly hours and a defined contract length of 13 weeks
