Description

Position / Specialty - Mother Baby Center. RNs work both in labor and post-partum.

Shift: 3x12 Days/Nights (0700-1930 and 1900-0730)

Average Daily Census: 8 del/ day; post-partum: 15/dayYears of experience REQ: 2 years of L&D with post-partum experience needed.

First-timers accepted: Yes

Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend

Certs REQ: BLS, NRP

Is on-call REQ? No

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.Open to accommodating block schedule? NoLocals accepted: No - 100 mile radiusPending License accepted: YesRTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.Guaranteed

Special Requirements: Sterile vaginal exam experience required. Required Fetal Monitoring Skills/Experience: Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Experience administering Pitocin (oxytocin) required. Experience Managing/Administering Epidural Anesthesia. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Teaching Hospital. Level 2 Trauma Center. Total Staffed Beds: 258

Very responsive, follows up. I have had to deal with compliance, HR questions etc and if the person I spoke with did not know the answer they sent it to whoever they thought could answer my questions and my questions or concerns were followed up on! This has been my first travel contract but I can’t say anything bad thus far!!! I definitely would recommend this company
