Description

Required Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of previous nursing experience
Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely according to the developmental stage of the patient
Ability to demonstrate kindness, compassion, understanding, and respect while effectively interacting with patients and families
Ability to work with disabled patients, all age groups, and emotionally upset or hostile patients/families in a healthcare setting
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or BSN
Active Illinois RN License in good standing
Active certifications required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- ECRN (Emergency Communications Registered Nurse)
English proficiency required (read, write, and speak)
