Shift Schedule 7:00pm-7:30am

Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour

Pay Schedule: weekly
Job Type: Full time – w2 13-week contract with extension

RN Med Surg (Registered Nurse) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic illnesses, and undergoing diagnostic procedures.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, monitor vital signs, and evaluate response to treatments and interventions.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with various medical procedures as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to participate in their care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

RN Med Surg(Registered Nurse) Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) PA State License
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience
• Current ACLS and BLS
