Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Rockland, MA
Schedule: Day Shift (5x8)
Shift Time: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients based on physician referrals and care plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Help patients improve mobility, coordination, strength, and daily living activities
- Accurately document patient progress and therapy services
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff, and patient families
- Supervise COTAs in accordance with facility policies and state practice acts
- Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and facility guidelines
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
- Active OT license in the state of practice (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Previous hospital, rehab, SNF, or acute care experience preferred
