Description
This position is for RN Compliance Auditor
- Must have a bachelor’s degree; preferably in a clinical or healthcare-related field - [REQUIRED]
- Must have 6 years experience in a healthcare related clinical, administrative, financial, or compliance role - [REQUIRED]
- Must have a valid and unrestricted TX RN license or valid Compact RN license - [REQUIRED]
- Prior experience conducting clinical quality or utilization reviews or compliance audits involving federal healthcare programs such as Medicare and Medicaid - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Prior experience in coding, revenue cycle, Charge Description Master (CDM) or revenue integrity - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Certification in healthcare coding is required and must be maintained as a condition of continued employment. Specifically, currently certified and in good standing with one of the following:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
