We are seeking an experienced OB / Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity women’s services assignment at Strong Memorial Hospital. This role includes care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across varying levels of acuity.

Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be comfortable floating across OB service lines as needed.

• Hours: 48/week guaranteed
• Positions: 1

🩺 Core Responsibilities

• Provide care for:
  • Antepartum patients
  • Labor & Delivery patients
  • Postpartum recovery patients
• Support both high-risk and low-risk OB populations
• Perform fetal monitoring and labor assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary OB teams
• Float across OB/GYN service lines based on acuity and census needs

🧠 Requirements (Strict)

• Minimum 2+ years Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong communication and prioritization skills
• Comfortable in high-acuity, high-volume OB settings

Highly Desired:

• OR / C-section experience
• OB triage experience

✅ Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA ONLY)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

📜 License Requirement

• Active New York RN License ONLY accepted
