Description

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry
Facility: Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Jun 22, 2026
Shift: Night (7:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: Up to 2550 Weekly Gross for 36 hours/Week

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor Med-Surg/Telemetry patients.
• Interpret cardiac telemetry and report abnormalities.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
• Provide post-operative and acute patient care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient charts.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards.

Requirements:

2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience - [Required]
CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE [REQUIRED]
Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - [Required]
Active RN license (VT or Compact License)
BLS (AHA) certification required
ACLS (AHA) Certification Required
