Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts of 12 hours each (36 hours per week)
• Occasional weekend work required (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
• On-call only when down staffed or placed on call

Unit and Patient Population

• Acute Care unit with 34 beds
• Patient ratio approximately 6:1
• Patient types include telemetry, surgical, and general medical cases
• Patient population: primarily geriatric and adults; occasional pediatrics (not assigned to traveler)
• Equipment used: Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, telemetry monitors
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• Dress code: scrubs of any color and closed-toed shoes; only scrubs allowed for clinical staff
• Must be adaptable to a fast-paced acute care environment with a diverse patient population
