Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds : Treat ~ 45-55 patients/day on 2 linacs

·         Patient Ratios : 2 radiation therapists per machine

·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 2 Front desk; 2-3 RNs; 5 therapists, 2 dosimetrists, 2 physicists, 1 dietitian, 1 social worker, 1 director

·         Type of equipment : 2 TrueBeam linear accelerators; 1 GE CT Sim, Elekta HDR

·         Documentation system: ARIA

·         Scheduling requirements: Monday-Friday; start time is 7:30am-~4:00-4:30pm

·         Floating policy:N/A

·         Patient Experience requirements: Press Ganey scores ~95%

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: ACR accredited for radiation oncology; Commission on Cancer accredited; NAPBC accredited

Must have:

 Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·          TrueBeam experience (at least 3 years)

·         Align RT (Vision RT) (surface guidance)

·         ARIA experience

Advanced skills needed:

·         DIBH

Procedures performed on unit:  

·         VMAT

·         SBRT

·         Surface Guidance

Certifications Required:

·         AART

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

·         Caribbean blue scrubs
