Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Schedule: Days | 40 Hours per Week 
Contract Duration:  13-Week Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions affecting mobility and physical function.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with facility policies
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a high standard of care throughout treatment sessions

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Nebraska or compact eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
