Job Title: LPN/LVN – Skilled Nursing
Location: Grand Island - NE
Schedule: Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week
Contract Duration: 13-Week Assignment with possible extension
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a Skilled Nursing assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, support residents’ daily healthcare needs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Assist residents with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control policies and facility protocols
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or emergencies
Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license in the state of Nebraska or compact license eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Previous travel experience is a plus
