• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour shifts (Mon/Wed/Fri: 8:00am–4:30pm; Tue/Thu: 10:30am–7:00pm)
• Schedule: No weekends, no holidays — great work-life balance for travel therapists
• Weekly Estimated Travel Rate: $3,000
• Local rate: $68/hour
• Patient Load: 8–10 patients per day

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient Physical Therapy experience required (preferred orthopedic experience)
• Current Physical Therapist license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professionals (MA PT license)
• CPR/AED certification
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Experience with evidence-based outpatient orthopedic care, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for outpatient rehabilitation patients
• Manage a daily caseload of 8–10 patients with individualized care to optimize outcomes
• Provide orthopedic and general outpatient therapy including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, balance training, and patient education
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity across outpatient services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with clinic protocols and state regulations
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
