Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment and cardiac monitoring systems.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

• Critical care nursing
• Cardiovascular intensive care experience
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active RN License – New York
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or critical care experience
• AHA - BLS,ACLS
• Experience in acute care setting required
