Position Overview
Pioneers Medical Center is seeking an experienced Pre-Op / PACU / OR Circulator Registered Nurse for a quick-start travel assignment in beautiful Meeker, Colorado.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled perioperative RN with strong orthopedic and general surgery experience who enjoys working in a collaborative rural hospital environment.
Assignment Details
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract
- Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
- Schedule: No Call | No Weekends
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
- Facility: Critical Access Hospital (0–49 beds)

Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative patient assessments and preparation
- Circulate orthopedic and general surgery procedures
- Deliver post-anesthesia recovery care in PACU
- Monitor patient recovery and respond to complications
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with perioperative standards
- Document care using Meditech EMR
Requirements
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Strong OR Circulator and PACU experience
- Orthopedic surgery experience required
- General surgery experience preferred
Required Licensure & Certifications
- Active, unrestricted Colorado RN License
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
