🌟 Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Austin, TX
Shift: Night 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🏥 Facility Overview
This is a Level IV designated Maternal Center providing care for some of the most complex obstetric cases in Texas. This is a high-volume, fast-paced L&D unit with strong physician and leadership support.
- 22 total beds (16 labor beds)
- Approx. 100 staff members
- Patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:2
- EMR: CPN & Meditech
- Scrub color: Navy Blue

- High-risk maternal and complex OB population
- Circulating OR + triage experience required
- Strong teamwork-driven environment
- Stable leadership with hands-on support (Manager/Director assist in care when needed)

📌 Job Responsibilities
- Care for high-risk labor & delivery patients
- Perform vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Assist with procedures such as:
- Tubal ligations
- Cerclage placement/removal
- D&C
- C-hyst cases
- PASD cases
- Circulate OR and support triage workflows
- Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary OB team
🎯 Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year L&D experience (high-risk preferred required)
- Experience with:
- Labor & delivery care
- OR circulation & triage
- Ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Comfortable with rotating weekend shifts (4 weekend shifts per schedule)

⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years L&D experience strongly preferred
- Experience in Level III/IV maternal centers
- Strong OR and complex OB procedural background
🕒 Schedule Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3x12 schedule
- No on-call required
- Weekend rotation required
