Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment providing care across adult and neonatal populations. This role involves working in high-acuity environments, including critical care and emergency settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory care treatments to patients
- Assist in evaluating patients with respiratory conditions
- Manage ventilators and perform arterial blood gas analysis
- Administer CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy, CPT, and aerosolized medications
- Participate in CPR/code team responses
- Deliver care in critical care units, ER (adult & pediatric), and general respiratory units
- Maintain accurate computerized documentation
Requirements
- Active Maryland License – Required
- RRT (NBRC) Credential – Required
- BLS/CPR (AHA) – Required
- ACLS – Preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience, including critical care
- Experience with adult and neonatal patients – Preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program – Required
