Description
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to support our client’s laboratory team in Kansas City, Kansas. This is a travel contract opportunity for an experienced MLS professional with strong Hematology and Chemistry experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing in Hematology and Chemistry departments
- Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and automation systems
- Accurately analyze and report patient results
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards
- Assist with troubleshooting instrumentation and workflow issues
- Float to other laboratory areas based on departmental needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Strong Hematology and Chemistry experience required
- Active ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification required
- Ability to work evening shifts and float as needed
- Must be comfortable working holidays based on unit needs

- Beckman automation line
- AU 5800 / AU 680
- DxH 900 / DxH 800
- DxI 800
- Cobas e801
- TOP720
- ABL 825 FLEX
- Iris Velocity / Iris iQ200
- Beaker and AMS software
