• Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Weekend Hours: As required by facility
• Call Requirements: As required by the facility
• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)

• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS

• Preferred Certifications:
• Years of Experience: 2+ years
• Float Requirements: As required by the facility

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds:
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Equipment: IV pumps, computers, glucometer, GE monitoring equipment
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2+ years Stepdown or ICU in an acute care hospital. Must be competent with insulin gtts, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem. Bipap
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Step Down takes post op surgical patients and traumas so experience is helpful.
• Type of Patients on Unit: Post Cardiac Cath; Afib; CHF; General Medical overflow; Takes stable MI, post heart caths with interventions; Medical Cardiac, pacemaker insertion, non-titrated cardiac drips, CHF, and other medical overflow patients

• Personality Fit: flexible, dependable, hardworking with strong teamwork skills are a must.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Black
• Any unacceptable attire: Anything other than black scrubs or M-wear

Auto Offer Guidelines:

Flexible contract length - 8-26 weeks 
Flexible Guaranteed Hours - 36 or 48 hours 
Blocked scheduling would need facility approval
We will still need confirmation within 5 days of offer 
RTO of 5 days or less, must make up the week on the back end  
If requesting any of the above, it must be listed on Mercy Submission Form 
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
